Red Silo Garden Club

Red Silo Homestead: Two of our Veterans moved from California to Kentucky to begin raising their own food and becoming more self-sufficient. This lifestyle has helped them in getting a handle on their PTSD/Depression symptoms and they would like to help others in their own path to recovery.

The Red Silo Garden Club offers Veterans, Police Offices, Fire Fighters, EMT’s, and Correctional Officers, who are struggling in recovering from their traumatic lifestyle, the opportunity to get free vegetable seeds from the garden at Red Silo Homestead.

If you are a Veteran, Police Officer, Fire Fighter, EMT, or Corrections Officer in need of assistance and interested in growing your own food, please fill out the form to the best of your ability.

In the Spring of each year, Red Silo Homestead will send you a “Garden Pack” full of seeds. Just in time for the new growing season!  If your not sure how to grow the seeds your sent, head over to Red Silo Homestead on YouTube and their RED SILO GARDEN CLUB playlist will get you started!

You can make a donation of $5.00 a month to become a member of the Red Silo Garden Club. Your donation not only helps pay the postage on your Garden Pack, but also helps us send the Garden Packs to those in need. Any funds remaining after the packs are sent in the spring go directly to supporting Our Heroes’ Dreams programs.
